Phibrows Microblading

PhiBrows Microblading is a relatively new method of eyebrow embroidery, also known as eyebrow embroidery, feather touch brows, micro-stroke eyebrow tattoo and feathering. This cosmetic procedure is designed to cosmetically enhance the natural shape of the eyebrow using implantation of safe pigments into the skin, mimicking the eyebrows natural hair.

The microblading phibrow treatment is just like cosmetic tattooing, and can last from 6 months up to two years depending on the skin type, it is a two part procedure – initial procedure and touch-up. At the first session, the eyebrow shape is measured according to the client’s facial features, such as the eyes and nose in order to achieve the most suitable natural eyebrow shape (The Golden Ratio – 1:618) and pigment colour depending on the colour of the client’s eyebrow hair. Once the client is satisfied with the newly drawn shape, the procedure will begin.

The pigment is applied via a blade into the skin to create hairstrokes, the pigment colour is chosen so to match the natural hair or eyebrow colour. After healing the colour will become several hues lighter than the natural hairs colour, this is why a top up is important. The top up is performed 6-12 weeks after the initial procedure, depending on the clients age and skin type.

Symmetry is achieved through a microblading PhiBrows application and it is calculated while the client’s eyes are closed because in that way mimetic muscles that can affect eyebrows’ symmetry as relaxed.

Strokes are always drawn in the direction of natural hairs growth to achieve a hyper realistic look.

When a client has very few natural hairs, the manual technique can be combined with the machine in order to get shadows that improve the volume. The combination of both techniques is called PhiFusion.

A top up treatment is done a month after the initial microblading treatment as 10-15% of the drawn on strokes disappear after the first treatment. Colour is quite dark during the first 5-7 days. 7 days later, it loses 40-50% of its intensity
